In the sun-soaked coastal town of Rimini, Italy, Daniele Dominici – a complex man with an equal passion for poetry and gambling – steps in as a temporary teacher at a local high school. As his personal life with partner Monica hits a rocky patch, he finds solace in the company of new friends Giorgio, Marcello, and Gerardo.
