Description:
"Human Nature" is a thought-provoking burlesque that examines the complexities and contradictions of human nature through the lives of an eccentric scientist, a devoted naturalist, and a man they find living in the wild. The story follows their unique journey as the obsessive scientist, Nathan, takes it upon himself to civilize the feral man, Puff, while his lover Lila champions the preservation of Puff's primal upbringing. As Nathan attempts to teach Puff table manners and other social niceties, Lila fights fiercely for the preservation of Puff's simian past, embodying an enviable sense of freedom that most humans strive for but often lose in their pursuit of civilization. The movie deftly combines humor with deep philosophical themes, inviting viewers to reflect on the human condition and our innate desires for both connection and independence.
