Heart of Stone

In the enigmatic Black Forest lives Lisbeth, a lady from an affluent family of glassblowers, and Peter, a destitute coal worker. The bond between these young lovers seems to defy their contrasting social standings; however, the rigid community they inhabit proves to be an insurmountable hurdle. In a desperate bid to rise through the ranks and gain esteem, Peter unwittingly enters into a treacherous pact with a sinister figure known as Dutch Michael. This devilish entity extracts Peter's heart, replacing it with an inert stone. Consequently, Peter transforms into a ruthless, cold-hearted individual, single-mindedly pursuing wealth and power without any vestige of empathy or sentimentality.
