Dexter Reed, an inventor experiencing a series of failures, finds solace in returning to Good Burger, a cherished establishment where he had previously worked. Ed, the manager of this beloved fast-food joint, warmly welcomes Dex back and reinstates him to his old position. As a new team forms around Dex, he concocts a strategy to rebuild his career; however, his grand ambitions inadvertently endanger Good Burger's future.
