Gopal finds himself stranded aboard a yacht overnight with an unexpected companion: a damsel in distress. To keep the night from getting any more interesting, he decides to hide his predicament from his wife, who's obsessed with soap operas and would surely raise concerns. However, this well-intentioned lie sets off a series of chaotic events that gradually draw Gopal into a far more dramatic situation than anything his wife could conjure up on the small screen - he becomes entangled in a bona fide police case.
