The film follows a group of parapsychologists who, after being dismissed from their esteemed university positions, decide to launch their own business as ghost exterminators, armed with proton packs. As they advertise their services, they are hired by a talented cellist living in a luxurious apartment. The apartment is haunted by supernatural beings that reside within her refrigerator, causing chaos and frightening experiences for the resident. The team of parapsychologists, now operating under the name 'Ghostbusters,' embark on an adventure to rid the woman's home of these mischievous spirits, combining humor, thrills, and a touch of the bizarre in their pursuit of the paranormal.
