For Love and Gold

The film follows a motley crew of miscreants who pilfer an ancient scroll promising untold riches in the form of the fertile lands of Aurocastro in Apulia, southern Italy. They unwittingly install Brancaleone from Norcia, a disheveled knight with questionable leadership skills, as their unwilling captain to lead them on a treacherous journey towards fortune. Along the way, they encounter numerous unexpected challenges and adventures that test their loyalty, courage, and sanity in this comedic tale of ambition and deception set against the picturesque backdrop of Italy's southern region.
