Ben Wrightman, a young and passionate teacher, unexpectedly finds himself in a loving relationship with Lindsey Meeks, an attractive yet equally driven businesswoman. Their initial differences, including contrasting interests and lifestyles, do little to hinder the blossoming romance between the two. However, as the baseball season approaches, their idyllic relationship is put to the test when Lindsey discovers Ben's unyielding dedication towards the Boston Red Sox.
