Fanny

In Marseille, a young man named Marius is on the cusp of adulthood and feels trapped in his father's café life. With an adventurous spirit yearning for the sea, he dreams of embarking on a five-year voyage that seems to promise excitement and freedom. Just as he is about to set sail, Fanny, a childhood friend, unexpectedly confesses her love for him. To Marius's surprise, he discovers his own feelings for her run deep as well. Thus begins a heart-wrenching dilemma where both characters must confront the reality of their choices – Marius between the allure of the sea and Fanny’s enduring affection, and Fanny grappling with whether to keep the man she loves or let him go in pursuit of his dreams.
