Eat Your Bones

The story follows Jason Dorkel, an 18-year-old man belonging to a nomadic gypsy community, as he prepares for his baptism celebration. His half-brother Fred, who has spent fifteen years in prison, returns home just in time for the event. Alongside their other brother Michael - known for his violent temperament - and their cousin, an ardent Christian activist, the four embark on a wild adventure among the "gadjos," or non-gypsies, in search of valuable copper goods. Through this thrilling journey, the characters navigate complex relationships, personal struggles, and cultural conflicts, ultimately uncovering more than just a cargo of treasured metal.
