In East Los Angeles, Diego's double life as a closeted gay Hispanic chef begins to unravel when he meets Wesley, an openly gay Caucasian man infiltrating his community under the guise of gentrification. The small, family-run restaurant where Diego works alongside his grandmother serves as a backdrop for his inner turmoil as he navigates between the love he harbors for his secret lover, Pablo, and the unanticipated attraction he feels towards Wesley.
