In 1897, grizzled bounty hunter Max Borlund finds himself in the dusty expanses of Mexico, on a mission to bring back Rachel Kidd - the wife of a wealthy businessman who has allegedly been kidnapped by Buffalo Soldier Elijah Jones. As Max delves deeper into his search for Rachel, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Joe Cribbens, a seasoned gambler and outlaw whom he had personally sent to prison years prior. This fateful meeting sparks an intense confrontation that tests the limits of honor and revenge in a world where trust is scarce and danger lurks at every turn. Amidst the heat and grit, Max must navigate a web of deceit and betrayal, all while staying true to his code as he races against time to save the kidnapped woman and reclaim his own sense of justice.
