Daffy Duck’s Quackbusters

This Warner Brothers feature film explores an imaginative blend of classic cartoon shorts with newly animated sequences, centering around Daffy Duck and his unexpected legacy. Having induced laughter in a critically ill millionaire (as seen in Daffy Dilly (1948)), Daffy becomes the beneficiary to the millionaire's vast assets upon his death. The will, however, dictates that Daffy must use this wealth for altruistic purposes – by providing a service. If he chooses to pursue personal gain, the millionaire's spirit will "repossess" the fortune, causing it to vanish from existence. To meet these requirements, Daffy establishes an exorcism agency, hiring Porky Pig, Sylvester Cat, and Bugs Bunny as his team of supernatural trackers. While they eliminate ghosts and monsters under the guise of community service, Daffy secretly plots to utilize his newfound "ghost-busting" skills to free himself from the millionaire's ever-present specter.
