In a small town, Nivaran Chatterjee lives a comfortable life with his wife and three sons - each with their own distinctive personalities. The oldest son is married, while the second one, Kedarnath, struggles with senility following a head injury. The youngest, Amarnath, excels in both academics and sports and falls for Beeni Mukherjee, an intelligent girl whose sister Saraswati is a brilliant overachiever under her family's watchful eye. Unable to muster the courage to express his feelings to Saraswati, Kedarnath fabricates an impressive background for himself, which impresses not only Saraswati's father but also her. However, as their relationship blossoms, the truth about Kedarnath's dishonesty threatens to unravel everything and leave both him and Saraswati facing a future they never anticipated.
