Plot:
Dan Klores' film delves into a peculiar love story between Burt Pugach, a flourishing attorney in 1950s New York City, and Linda Riss, a younger woman who catches his eye. Their initial relationship comes to an abrupt end when Riss learns that Pugach's claims of pending divorce are fabricated; furthermore, she discovers her own engagement to another man.
