Adam Sandler starring as Conan O’Brien was like watching someone try to balance a bike for the first time – there was potential but mostly just a whole lot of wobbling. The sketches were like watching paint dry and the stand-up routines felt more like the comedians were reading from cue cards than actually being funny. And don’t even get me started on those heartwarming anecdotes – I think I might have warmed up my heart a whole 0.5 degrees. Give it two stars, but only if you enjoy the sound of your own laughter being smothered in a pillow.
