Davey Osborne is your typical 11-year-old boy with an overactive imagination and a penchant for playing video games. He finds solace in his imaginary adventures as a spy alongside his secret agent mentor, Jack Flack - a character he's created to fill the void left by his real father, who struggles with the recent loss of Davey's mother. But when Davey unwittingly witnesses the murder of an FBI agent, his world is turned upside down as he inherits a mysterious video game cartridge called Cloak & Dagger. To his surprise, this seemingly ordinary game contains top-secret government information that thrusts him into the middle of a high-stakes espionage mission in San Antonio, Texas. Along with the support of his resourceful and loyal friends Kim and Morris, Davey must navigate through the treacherous streets of San Antonio, using his cunning and wit to stay one step ahead of dangerous pursuers and unravel a web of intrigue that puts his life on the line.
