Captain Tsubasa Movie 04: The great world competition The Junior World Cup

In this fourth installment of the sports anime series, the traditional Japan-Europe football rivalry expands globally as teams from the USA and South America are introduced into the mix. The world cup event consists of four teams: Japan, the United States, "All Europe," and "All South America." In the opening match, Japan triumphs over the USA with a decisive 3-0 victory. Following this, Europe suffers a narrow defeat at the hands of South America, with a final score of 2-3.As the tournament progresses towards its climax, the stakes rise even higher when South America unveils their secret weapon: Carlos Santana, a futuristic soccer cyborg renowned for his exceptional prowess on the field. Initially struggling to counteract Santana's otherworldly skills, Japan's players soon discover how to harmonize their individual techniques – including Hyuga's legendary "Tiger Shot" and Tsubasa's innovative "Top Spin." Through sheer determination and a willingness to learn from one another, the Japanese team eventually overcomes the odds and claims victory in an exhilarating final showdown.
