Ryo Morinaka, a university student with a monotonous routine, works part-time at a local bar to make ends meet. His life is filled with tedium and apathy until his friend Shinya introduces him to Shizuka Mido, the owner of an exclusive members-only host bar. This unexpected encounter sets Ryo on a new career path, as he begins working for Shizuka at the host establishment.Initially uncomfortable with the role, Ryo slowly starts to understand the desires of the women who visit the bar and gradually develops a sense of purpose in his work.
