Bad Boy Bubby presents a twisted coming-of-age tale, following its eponymous antihero as he steps out of his sheltered existence and into an unpredictable world. For thirty years, Bubby has been confined by his domineering mother, who has led him to believe that the air outside their house is lethal. This controlled environment is shaken when Bubby's estranged father comes to visit, inadvertently setting off a chain of events that thrusts the naïve and misguided character into the chaotic reality around him. The film explores themes of innocence lost, societal expectations, and the challenges of forging one's own identity amidst adversity through a darkly comedic lens.
