Arch of Triumph

In the wintry streets of Paris during 1938, refugees from Nazi persecution navigate life in the shadows as fear of deportation looms large. Among them is Dr. Ravic, a determined physician forced to practice his craft on the sly. Driven by personal vendetta, he relentlessly hunts his former enemy, Haake, whose cruel actions left indelible scars on Dr. Ravic's psyche. On one dreary night, the doctor encounters Joan Madou, a woman of questionable virtue who finds herself in dire circumstances after her lover's unexpected demise. Despite the inherent risks and his better instincts urging caution, their fates become entwined as they embark on a tumultuous romantic journey that ultimately leads them down a path of heartbreak and despair.
