In this chilling thriller, a colossal South American spider inadvertently hitsches a ride on a cargo ship bound for America, hidden within a crate carrying a deceased body. Upon arrival, the massive arachnid encounters a local species, which triggers an ominous chain of events. As the residents of a quiet California town gradually vanish under mysterious circumstances, it becomes clear that their fate was sealed by venomous fangs. With time running out, two dedicated doctors and a skilled insect exterminator embark on a tense race against nature to annihilate these rapidly multiplying, monstrous offspring before the entire town falls prey to this unexpected terror.
