Jack McCall is an ambitious literary agent known for his persuasive skills and ability to close any deal. His latest target is the enigmatic Dr. Sinja, a New Age guru whose teachings hold great potential for Jack's career ambitions. However, Dr. Sinja senses Jack's ulterior motives and as a result, Jack finds himself in uncharted territory when an extraordinary Bodhi tree mysteriously appears in his backyard. Unbeknownst to him, each word he speaks causes a leaf to fall from the tree, signaling his imminent demise.As Jack watches helplessly while more leaves flutter down, he becomes acutely aware that words have always been his strength but now they could very well be his undoing.
