A Simple Twist of Fate

In this character-driven drama, Michael McCann faces the devastating blow of losing the love of his life and subsequently develops a distaste for humanity. He channels his pain into collecting gold coins, becoming increasingly solitary as he distances himself from others. Coincidentally, a wealthy family resides in the same town, with the younger brother, Tanny, exhibiting reckless behavior that culminates in an ill-fated break-in at McCann's house where he steals his gold collection.
