In 17th-century England, amidst the tumultuous backdrop of civil war, a group of weary deserters find themselves entangled in an alchemist's eldritch pursuit. Forced into service by this enigmatic figure, they navigate through an overgrown battlefield in search of a mythical treasure rumored to be hidden within its borders. As the group ventures deeper and encounters a mystifying ring of mushrooms that offers sustenance, the atmosphere rapidly deteriorates into discord and paranoia.
