In a charming Aegean village in the early 1970s, young Adem eagerly embarks on his first summer holiday from primary school and seeks employment. With the support of his family, he takes up a position with Ciber Kemal, an affable soda pop seller. As Ramadan commences, Adem is determined to adhere to the fasting practices while working in the scorching summer heat. However, as the day unfolds and the sun beats down mercilessly, Adem begins to experience vivid hallucinations that blur the line between reality and imagination. In this coming-of-age story set against a backdrop of cultural traditions, Adem grapples with his newfound responsibilities while navigating the trials of adolescence in an era of transition.
