The small town is preparing for another Christmas on the 22nd of December, marking the 16th anniversary since the revolution. As Piscoci, an elderly retired man, prepares for the festivities alone, history teacher Manescu struggles to keep up with his accumulated debts. Jderescu, the local television post owner, seems disinterested in the holiday season, as he grapples with confronting his town's past. Together, these three individuals embark on a personal journey to determine if what they experienced 16 years ago was indeed a revolution or merely an illusion. As the story unfolds, it delves into themes of memory, identity, and reconciliation while offering a unique perspective on the complexities of historical events.
