Born on January 1st, 1978, Vidya Balan is a remarkable Indian actress known for her captivating performances in Hindi films. After completing her degree in sociology, she ventured into the world of entertainment through music videos, television shows, and commercials before making the transition to feature films.

Balan's journey as an actor began with her debut in the Bengali film, Bhalo Theko, in 2003. This was followed by a remarkable Hindi film debut in Parineeta (2005), which earned her not only a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut but also her first nomination for Best Actress at the same ceremony. Her ability to embrace diverse characters and roles led her to achieve commercial success with Rajkumar Hirani's Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006).

In the following years, Balan continued to captivate audiences with her performances in films such as Guru, Heyy Babyy (2008), and Bhool Bhulaiya (2008), the latter of which garnered her another Filmfare nomination.
