Born and raised in the streets of Brooklyn, New York, Tracy Jamal Morgan has become a household name as an American actor, comedian, and author. Best known for his eight-season stint on Saturday Night Live (SNL) and currently for playing the hilarious role of Tracy Jordan on the hit NBC series 30 Rock, Morgan's career took off in ways he never could have imagined.

Before becoming a SNL sensation, Morgan began his acting journey on the popular television show Martin as Hustle Man. His undeniable comedic talent caught the attention of audiences everywhere and soon led him to other projects. In 2003, he starred in Chris Rock's film Head of State, playing a man watching television while questioning why they weren't tuned into Martin.

Morgan's comedic chops were also showcased on "Uptown Comedy Club during its two-season run between 1992 and 1994, where he honed his skills alongside fellow comics. In addition to his television appearances, Morgan made an impact on the small screen through his role in HBO's Snaps.
