Born in Cardiff, Wales, Tom Ellis made his way into the world of acting with a bang, quickly becoming a household name across the United Kingdom. His first breakout role came as Dr. Oliver Cousins on the popular BBC soap opera "EastEnders." Soon after, he took on the role of Detective Sergeant Sam Speed in an amusing parody of the iconic series "Life on Mars" within "The Catherine Tate Show."
