Biography:
Timothy Simon Roth, an English actor and director, has made a name for himself not only in Hollywood but also in British cinema. Born into a family of actors, the stage seemed to be his natural playground from an early age. He rose to prominence as part of the "Brit Pack," a group of talented young actors who took the film industry by storm during the 1980s and 1990s.
His breakthrough came with television productions, Made in Britain (1982) and Meantime (1983), which captured the attention of critics and audiences alike. This led to his theatrical film debut in The Hit (1984), for which he was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer.
