Born on September 12th, 1994 in South Korea, Kim Nam-joon, known professionally as RM, is a multi-talented artist. The leader of the globally celebrated boy group BTS, RM has made significant strides in the world of music as a rapper, songwriter, and record producer under BigHit Music.

In 2015, RM released his first solo mixtape, simply titled "RM," showcasing his unique talent and versatility. Four years later, he dropped his second mixtape, "Mono," which made history as the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist in the United States, reaching number 26 on the Billboard 200.

RM's journey didn't stop there. In 2022, he made his official solo debut with his studio album "Indigo," featuring collaborations with renowned artists such as Erykah Badu and Anderson .Paak. The album peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, a new record for a Korean soloist. RM has also worked alongside notable artists like Wale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Fall Out Boy, Primary, and Lil Nas X.

In 2024, he released his second album, "Right Place, Wrong Person," which continued to cement RM's position as a leading figure in the industry. His contributions have not gone unnoticed, and in 2020, RM was promoted to a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association.
