Biography:

Deborah Rhea Seehorn, born on May 12, 1972, is an accomplished American actress and director who has captivated audiences with her incredible talent. Best known for her portrayal of attorney Kim Wexler in AMC's critically acclaimed series Better Call Saul (2015-2022), Seehorn has garnered numerous accolades and awards throughout her career.

Seehorn's upbringing was a mix of adventure and resilience as her family relocated often due to her father's career with the Naval Investigative Service, living in places such as Washington D.C., Arizona, and even Japan. Following in her father's footsteps, she discovered her love for visual arts at a young age, studying painting, drawing, and architecture. She pursued this passion at George Mason University, graduating with a BA in Studio Art in 1994.

While in college, Seehorn found herself drawn to the world of theater, inspired by her acting teacher. She took on various roles within the industry in D.C., working as an ancillary staff member and eventually landing roles in local productions. Despite these accomplishments, she still needed to take odd jobs to make ends meet. However, her dedication and talent did not go unnoticed, leading to more television roles where she played wry, sarcastic women that echoed her idol, Bea Arthur.

In May 2014, Seehorn's career took a significant turn when she was cast in the Breaking Bad spin-off prequel series, Better Call Saul. Her portrayal of Kim Wexler, lawyer and love interest to Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk), was met with critical acclaim and numerous awards. She has won two Satellite Awards for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film and one Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television. Additionally, she has been nominated for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television.

Following her success with Better Call Saul, Seehorn is set to star in Vince Gilligan's upcoming series for Apple TV+. Titled "Wycaro" at the moment, the project was picked up by Apple TV+ for a two-season order in September 2022, continuing the remarkable journey of Deborah Seehorn and her ever-evolving career in Hollywood.
