Born on March 2, 1980, Rebel Melanie Elizabeth Wilson is an Australian actress, comedian, writer, and producer who has left a significant mark in the entertainment industry. After completing her training at the Australian Theatre for Young People in 2003, she embarked on a journey that led to her becoming one of Australia's most loved talents.

Wilson first gained recognition as Toula in the SBS comedy series "Pizza" (2003-2007; 2019), which was followed by her stint in the sketch comedy series "The Wedge" (2006-2007). She then ventured into musical comedy with "Bogan Pride" (2008) where she wrote, produced and starred in the show. The following year, Wilson won the Tropfest best actress award for her role in "Bargain" and made a memorable guest appearance in "City Homicide."

Wilson's move to the United States saw her securing a leading role as Brynn in the hit comedy film "Bridesmaids" (2011), which brought her international recognition.
