Born on November 8, 1968, in America's heartland - Howard Beach, Queens, New York, Parker Christian Posey has made her mark as a versatile actress and musician. Her talent has earned her multiple nominations for prestigious awards, including a Golden Globe Award nomination, a Satellite Award nomination, and two Independent Spirit Award nominations.
Parker began her acting journey in 1993 with the film Joey Breaker, quickly followed by minor roles in Coneheads and Dazed and Confused. This led to her being named the "Queen of the Indies" as she starred in a string of independent films during the '90s such as Sleep with Me, Frisk, Party Girl, The Doom Generation, Kicking and Screaming, The Daytrippers, Henry Fool, The House of Yes, and Clockwatchers.
Over the years, Parker has not only continued to excel in independent cinema but also ventured into mainstream projects. Some of her most notable film appearances include You've Got Mail, Scream 3, Josie and the Pussycats, Personal Velocity, The Sweetest Thing, Blade: Trinity, Superman Returns, Fay Grim, Broken English, The Eye, Spring Breakdown, Inside Out, Irrational Man, Café Society, and Columbus.
