Biography:
Park Hyung Sik, a versatile South Korean talent, made his debut into the entertainment industry as both a singer and actor back in January 2010. Born in South Korea and trained at Singal High School, he later pursued his passion further by obtaining a bachelor's degree in Acting Arts from Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University.
His career took off as the main vocalist and visual of ZE:A (formerly known as Child of Empire), a group under Star Empire Entertainment. However, due to similarities with Brown Eyed Girls member JeA's name, the agency decided on officially establishing the group as ZE:A but changed its pronunciation to avoid confusion. The decision paid off, as they quickly rose to fame and signed with Sony Music for promotional activities in nine countries across Southeast Asia.
After an impressive run, Park Hyung Sik's contract with Star Empire expired in January 2017, raising questions about the group's future. However, it was announced that while ZE:A was taking an indefinite hiatus, they were not disbanding.
In June 2019, Park Hyung Sik fulfilled his mandatory military service before being discharged on January 4, 2021. Upon his release, he launched P&Studio (피앤드스튜디오), a new company established as a subsidiary of United Artists Agency with the help of some long-time managers.
Today, Park Hyung Sik continues to impress audiences by taking on various roles in musicals, dramas, and commercial modeling, proving his dedication as an all-around entertainer.
