Miroslav Barnyashev, better known to wrestling fans as Miro and previously Rusev, is a Bulgarian-American professional wrestler who has made history with his impressive career. Born and raised in Bulgaria, Miro's journey began when he signed with WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) in 2010. Assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling, which later became NXT - WWE's developmental territories, Miro honed his skills before being promoted to the main roster in 2014.
As Rusev, he became a trailblazer as the first Bulgarian wrestler to work for WWE. His memorable time in WWE included capturing the United States Championship title three times, showcasing his undeniable talent and determination. While working under the bright lights of WWE, Miro was managed by his wife, Lana - adding an intriguing layer to their story both on and off-screen.
Despite parting ways with WWE in April 2020, Miro's wrestling journey continued when he debuted in AEW (All Elite Wrestling) as "Miro" that same year. As a one-time AEW TNT Champion, his career shows no signs of slowing down.
