Biography:
Mihiro Tangicuhi, known as Mihiro in the spotlight, is an accomplished Japanese actress who was born Yamase Hiromi in Kashiwazaki City, Niigata Prefecture. This small city, most famous for its nuclear power plant, has given birth to a talented star. Her career began as a gravure idol back in 2001 and took off with the release of her debut single "SunFlower" in 2004.
Mihiro then ventured into the adult video industry in 2005, but her journey didn't stop there. She made her mark in mainstream acting through TV Tokyo's drama series, 2nd House, sharing screen time with fellow gravure idol Sayaka Isoyama. In no time, she became a regular on TV variety shows and commercials.
As part of the short-lived Man-zoku Divas adult video star group, Mihiro collaborated with other renowned S1 agency actresses such as Ozawa Maria. This led to appearances on TV Osaka's variety show Please Muscat or Onegai Muscat, which further elevated her career.
In 2007, Mihiro was cast in a recurring role for TV Asahi's Tissue serial and continued to impress in films like "Cruel Restaurant" in 2008. This movie blended comedy, cooking, sex, and dumplings, showcasing the diverse talents of its lead actress.
Mihiro's autobiography, "Nude," released in 2009, provided a glimpse into her life, including her entrance into the adult film industry. This was followed by a Korean television drama called "Korean Classroom" alongside Aoi Sora in the same year. In 2010, "Nude" transformed into a movie, marking another milestone in Mihiro's career.
Despite retiring from adult films in 2010, Mihiro continued to work in the entertainment industry. In 2015, she added husband to her list of titles when she married stuntman Shimokawa Shinya on her birthday. They had been dating for three years before tying the knot.
