Weatherly's journey began on the small screen as Theo Huxtable's roommate in an episode of The Cosby Show. He then moved onto playing Cooper Alden in Loving and later, The City from 1992 to 1996. His move to Los Angeles led him to a role in Significant Others alongside Jennifer Garner, despite the show's short run.
