Biography:

David Matthew Macfadyen, an English actor born on October 17th, 1974, has had a successful career spanning both stage and screen. His breakthrough role came in 2005 when he was cast as the dashing Mr. Darcy in Joe Wright's adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice, catapulting him into international fame.

Since then, Macfadyen has continued to impress audiences and critics alike with his versatile acting skills. He played Tom Wambsgans, a complex character in the hit HBO drama series Succession, for which he received two Primetime Emmy Awards, two British Academy Television Awards (BAFTA), and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
