Born and raised in Japan, Masami Nagasawa (長澤まさみ) has made her mark as a talented actress under Toho Entertainment. With an impressive career spanning both big screen and television, she's captured audiences with performances in films like "Crying out Love in the Center of the World," "Nada Sousou," "Dragon Zakura," and "Proposal Daisakusen."

Graduating from Horikoshi High School in 2006, Masami's journey to stardom began as she made a name for herself in the competitive world of Japanese entertainment. Often referred to by her nicknames "Ma-chan" or "Maa-tan" by her close friend Yamashita Tomohisa, Masami has also embraced another moniker chosen by her fans: "Gasawa."
