Throughout her illustrious career, she has been affiliated with several prominent production companies including Production Baobab, 81 Produce, Office Nozawa, and currently Aoni Production.

Her late husband, Masaaki Tsukada, was also a voice actor, making their partnership in the voice acting world both professional and personal.

Among her most notable roles is Goku in the globally popular anime series Dragon Ball. Not only did she lend her voice to this beloved character, but she also voiced all of Goku's male family members (except Raditz) and the antagonist Goku Black. This iconic role has solidified her status as a legend in the anime community.

Masako has showcased her versatility by voicing numerous other memorable characters, such as Tetsurō Hoshino in Galaxy Express 999, Kitarō in GeGeGe no Kitarō (both in its first and second series), and two separate characters named "Hiroshi" in Dokonjō Gaeru and Hyakujūō Golion, which are known as "Pidge" and "Haggar" in the U.S.
