Born Mark Alan Dacascos on February 26, 1964, this American actor and martial artist has quite an impressive resume. As a child prodigy, he won numerous championships in karate and various styles of kung fu from the tender age of seven until his teenage years.

Fast forward to January 2005 when Dacascos joined Food Network's popular television series Iron Chef America. He took on the role of "The Chairman," which had previously been played by Takeshi Kaga in the original Japanese Iron Chef. Intriguingly, his character was presented as Kaga's nephew, though there is no family relation between the two actors. Dacascos continued to charm audiences when he took on this role again in Iron Chef Australia.

Dacascos has appeared in a plethora of television shows and films throughout his career. Notably, he played Eric Draven in The Crow: Stairway to Heaven and Eubulon, the Advent Master, on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. He also landed the lead role as "Mani" in the French film Brotherhood of the Wolf and portrayed the titular character in Crying Freeman.

Dacascos even dabbled in dancing, competing in season nine of Dancing with the Stars. His partner was Lacey Schwimmer from So You Think You Can Dance. Unfortunately for them, they were eliminated in the seventh episode. However, his acting career continued to thrive when he was cast as Wo Fat, the arch-nemesis of Steve McGarrett, in CBS's modern remake of Hawaii Five-0 on November 2, 2010.

With an impressive background in martial arts and a versatile acting career, Mark Alan Dacascos continues to captivate audiences with his talent and charisma.
