Lupita Amondi Nyong'o, born on March 1st, 1983 in Mexico City to Kenyan parents, is a talented actress and author known for her captivating performances and dedication to humanitarian causes. After beginning her career as a production assistant in Hollywood, Lupita made her acting debut in the short film "East River" in 2008. She then returned to Kenya and starred in the TV series Shuga (2009-2012).
