Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Lucius Hoyos discovered his passion for acting at a young age. Growing up, he was no different from any other kid – playing sports, hanging out with friends, and dreaming of adventure. But it wasn't until he appeared in a school play that he felt the thrill of standing on stage and bringing a character to life.
After graduating high school, Lucius enrolled at York University to study theatre. His breakthrough moment came when he was cast as 'Manny Santos' on the hit teen drama "Degrassi: The Next Generation." For four seasons, Lucius portrayed Manny with such authenticity that audiences around the world fell in love with the character.
Following his success on "Degrassi," Hoyos went on to appear in numerous TV series and movies, showcasing his versatile acting skills. He played a rebellious teenager in "Family Biz," a struggling artist in "The Best Years," and even ventured into comedy with roles in "Howie Do It" and "Madison."
