Lee Byung-hun, born on July 12th, 1970, is a multi-talented South Korean actor, singer, and model who has made an indelible mark on the global stage with his captivating performances. Known for his versatility in tackling a wide range of genres, Lee's acting prowess has earned him critical acclaim both domestically and internationally.
In South Korea, some of Lee's most notable roles include his portrayal of the border patrol officer in the gripping thriller Joint Security Area (2000), the ruthless mob enforcer in A Bittersweet Life (2005), and his portrayal of a bandit leader in The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008). His acting skills were once again put on display in I Saw the Devil (2010) where he played an NIS agent seeking vengeance against a brutal serial killer.
Lee's contributions to South Korean television have been equally impressive. He starred as a gambler turned lawyer in the popular drama All In (2003), and portrayed a National Intelligence Service agent in Iris (2009).
