Born on September 17, 1965, Kyle Martin Chandler is an accomplished American actor who has made a name for himself in both television and film. He first entered the world of screen acting with a role in the 1988 TV film "Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story." This was followed by his first regular television role as Dr. William Benson in the ABC drama series "Homefront," which ran from 1991 to 1993.
In 1996, Chandler landed the lead role of Gary Hobson in the CBS series "Early Edition," a part he played until 2000. His performance on this show caught the attention of audiences and critics alike, paving the way for more significant roles in his career.
Chandler's guest appearance on the hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" earned him his first Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2006-2007.
