Biography:

Kristen Schaal, born on January 24th, 1978, is an American actress, voice actress, comedian, and writer who has captivated audiences with her unique talent for bringing characters to life. Raised in a rural area near Boulder, Colorado, on her family's cattle ranch, Schaal comes from a Lutheran family of Dutch descent. Her father is a construction worker, and her mother is a secretary.

Schaal's educational journey began at Skyline High School, where she graduated in 1996. Following her high school years, she continued her education at Northwestern University before moving to New York City in 2000 to pursue a career in comedy. Her determination paid off when, in 2005, she was recognized as one of "The Ten Funniest New Yorkers You've Never Heard Of" by New York magazine.

Schaal has an impressive roster of roles to her name. She is most famously known for voicing the characters of Louise Belcher on Bob's Burgers and Mabel Pines on Gravity Falls. Additionally, she played Mel on Flight of the Conchords and Hurshe Heartshe on The Heart, She Holler. Schaal also lent her voice to Carol Pilbasian on The Last Man on Earth and provided several voices for BoJack Horseman, earning a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her portrayal of Sarah Lynn.
