Born as Kajol Mukherjee on August 5th, 1974 in Mumbai's bustling film industry, the talented Indian actress is best known by her married name Kajol Devgan. She comes from a family steeped in cinema; her mother Tanuja Samarth and late father Shomu Mukherjee were both successful filmmakers. Over the years, Kajol has made a name for herself as one of India's most successful and highest-paid actresses, with six Filmfare Awards to her credit among twelve nominations. She shares this accolade with her late aunt Nutan, holding the record for most Best Actress wins at Filmfare with an impressive five.
Kajol's acting career began in 1992 with the romantic film "Bekhudi," starring alongside her mother Tanuja. She then found commercial success with the 1993 thriller "Baazigar."
