Jun Miho was born on August 4th, 1960, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. She embarked on her acting journey with a bang, winning the Blue Ribbon Newcomer Award and the Golden Arrow Graph Award for her role in "Pink Curtain" just two years later, in 1982. In 1983, she further cemented her status as an up-and-coming talent by claiming the Japan Academy Prize for Newcomer of the Year.
